Critical HFIX-A186 prevents potential system stability and data corruption
HFIX-A186 is required to correct a regression defect introduced in Pega Platform™ 8.7.5 whereby, after you update your Pega deployment to Pega Platform version 8.7.5 and import a RAP file, database column population and optimization creates system instability and data corruption. See the Client Advisory (CAD) about this critical hotfix.
After you update to or install Pega Platform version 8.7.5, you must obtain and install HFIX-A186 before you import any RAP file, Pega-supplied or custom.
Be sure to follow this sequence of actions:
- Update to or install Pega Platform version 8.7.5.
- Obtain and install HFIX-A186.
- Import any RAP files, Pega-supplied or custom.
Find and install HFIX-A186 from the Hotfix Manager page of Dev Studio:
In Dev Studio, click .
Alternative: Go to My Support Portal and click . Complete and submit the ticket form.
