Which rule is responsible to populate the list of values for column filter in a table ?

Hello everyone, 

I was trying to find which rule is used to retrieve the list of values to be used in the filter of a column but i didn't find any, the only thing i found is that the list is stored in a property called devand i can't seem to find how these values are put in it. Any idea ?
