Whatsapp Integration through Web Portal

Hi 

Is possible to open WhatsApp chat through a button click in the web portal 

There is an API provided by WhatsApp itself to achieve this

"https://wa.me/+91-phonenumber"

but this seems to be working for Pega mobile, and on button click, it opens the WhatsApp app and the chat of the number we mention in the url

Identified that the link should not contain the country code along 

need to use like this "https://wa.me/1234567890"

Kindly find the attached for the reference link and implementation of sending a message to WhatsApp Number
