What is System Data Link-UseCase instance?

Hi,

While creating a product, I came across System Data Link-UseCase instances. While I specifically did not add/create these instances. I can see this being included in Product File. We infact have enabled - Exclude Non Rule Resolved Rules as well and Include Associated Data is also not Checked. So I am not sure whether this is right and we can go ahead with deployment of the Product file. Any insights into this will be highly appreciated.

Hi All,

I did not face any issues because of Link-UseCases instances in the product. I was wondering if it will cause any problems. We did move the package with Link-UseCases and it did not cause any problem. Digged a little deeper into Pega classes etc. Found out Link-UseCases instances appear for all connectors in a flow if the application has been migrated from an older version.

I do ran into same use case and we packaged Link-UseCases along with product. We didn't face any issue so far.

If a specification rule (Rule-Application-Usecase) is linked with any other rule types like report definition and activity ,flow or integration rules the link instances will be created in link- usecase class. If you don't export these link class instances you will not be able to see the link info of a specification or a flow rule(mainly).

Hi Pavan,

I see that there are no specifications linked to the rules which were part of the package. So I am not quite sure if this is due to Specifications.

Are you suggesting that there are specifications linked to rules which are part of the package which is omitted in latest versions of the rule?
