What is maximum characters for Double property

Hi,

I am facing one issue for the double property.I have created one double property and in section level i gave that property type currency and also i have given maximum characters 100.but here the propeblem is i have enetered in UI text box level(11111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111)like this but on change level after 16 characters it will automatically round up the values to 0's like(11111111111111111000000000000000000000000000000000000)

why it is automatically rounding to zero after 16 characters can you please help me on this issue ASAP.Regards,

Could you elaborate what you mean by on change level? Could you please share screen shots of your configuration so we could look at the action set?

Thanks Mahab for quick reply.

Please find the my scenario screen shots.

Step :1:Property type:Double

Step no:2 :I have configured that property in section cell property level Currency and in actions tab i have given Onchange post value.

Step no:3:In UI Level i have entered 100 characters like:1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111

Step no:4:After entering the values in that text box After 16 characters "1" value changes to"0" automatically like "$1111111111111111000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.00:

why it is changing  after 16 characters "1" to "0" when user enters the values in UI this is my query.

This might be happening because you are trying to type "String" in a Double property type. Seeing your screenshot I see you have entered $ symbol. double cant read that. Go to the presentation tab of you property , under Editable Format change type to Number if its text. Let me know if this works. If not please share a screenshot of the Presentation tab.

Able to reproduce this issue in 7.4 , I am not sure of this is a BUG or not.
