The maximum size of the text property
Hi. Do we have any limitation on the size of the text property? One of our customers is asking this. I did a quick test (with two Notepads), and I observed that the robot seems to copy the first 64K characters of the long string, and the rest is cut. Any suggestions on how we can copy all of them?

It seems like you might be bumping up against the limit of the string data type. You can work around this by using Stringutils to pass data to string variables in the runtime, then reassemble the data later. http://help.openspan.com/80/Components/string_utilities_component2.htm

The Japanese error message here says:
"You cannot specify a value to startIndex larger than the original string length."
Am I missing something?

Hi,
If you are passing the value from textbox as shown in your screenshot then change the maxlength property of the textbox to '0'

I tested and working for me, my input file contains 155943 chars.
Assuming your file size contains more than 128000 chars.

Thank you. Your are talking about the TextBox in the Windows Form, right? With following your instruction, it worked for "Windows Form to Windows Form", "Windows Form to Notepad", and "Windows Form to IE" on my end.
Do you know how we can achieve the same thing when the source text box is in Windows adapters?
The MaxLength property of the text box in the Notepad cannot be modified as follows, since we do not have data link on the left side:

Its interesting. Notepad text property is returning only 65536 chars only so, you can't pass start index more than this value.
Solution: Use GetText method to read the notepad text and assign to textbox or string variable then use substring.
