What are the steps to leverage PegaSurvey API on Pega 7.1.8 and CPM 7.1.3
HI All,
We have the requirement to populate questions along with radio buttons/Check boxes dynamically, hence we want to leverage Pega Survey API on CPM 7.1.3 on Pega 7.1.8 platform.
Could you please list out the complete steps to leverage this Survey API

Hi,
A survey gathers data that you can use in your application by presenting a collection of questions to users.
You can use the Survey Management landing page to create surveys.
Because the structure of a survey is modular, you can reuse questions and other survey elements in your application. Each survey has the following elements:
- The survey itself, which contains at least one question page.
- Question pages, which contain at least one question.
- Individual questions, which can be simple or complex.
Surveys are integrated with flows in your application.

Most of the features you listed here are not available until version 7.4 with additional features added in Pega Infinity. The poster is on 7.1.8. There are no Survey Management landing pages in 7.1.8. The Survey shape does not exist in 7.1.8. The Questionnaire class that is used in 7.1.8 is deprecated in 7.4. Question pages were not introduced until 7.4.
In addition, there are significant changes to the rules starting in version 7.3. Some of the property names change to meet normal Pega naming conventions (addition of the py prefix is one of the changes). Therefore, there is some significant testing related to upgrading from anything below 7.3.
I would do a proper assessment of how viable Pega Survey is for your solution by considering the changes in Pega Infinity and upgrading to a newer version before adoption as the upgrade path will be challenging if you choose to implement Pega Survey on 7.1.8. I have first hand experience with this.
