WAS and Oracle version upgrade

Hi team,

We are in the process of upgrading WAS and Oracle version for our application.

Currently our app is using PRPC 6.2 SP2, WAS 7, Oracle 11g. We need to upgrade it to WAS 8.5 and Oracle 12c.

we are planning to upgrade PEGA version to 6.3 SP1 as 6.2 is not supported for oracle 12g. We are planning to do this upgrade in two phases.

  1. Oracle 12c + pega upgrade
    1. WAS 8.5 upgrade
  2. WAS 855 + pega upgrade
    1. Oracle 12c upgrade

Could you please help us to find out which option is best to follow and what is the high level estimates for this?
