Oracle version
We would like to do an out of place split schema upgrade from 7.1.5 to 7.1.9, however our source DB is Oracle Proprietary information hidden.0 and our target DB is Oracle Proprietary information hidden.0. Will this negatively impact the upgrade process or afterwards when we start the server?

This is not an tested approach. Always it is recommended to use the same versions of DB or higher versions as backward compatibility will be there. But in this case, you may encounter some DB issues as well while migration to the lower versions and this is not a suggested approach.

As per the platform support guide, Oracle 11g R2 is supported by Pega 7. Oracle 11g R2 has 4 patch versions Proprietary information hidden.0, Proprietary information hidden.0, Proprietary information hidden.0 and Proprietary information hidden.0. The last one was out in 2013. My questions are
1. Has the latest Pega 7 ( 7.1.9 ) been tried & tested with every patch of Oracle 11g R2 version?
2. If not, can the platform support guide mention the patches that has been tried & tested for this oracle version?
3. Can the same be done for applicable versions of other databases as well ?

Yes it is tested on all the supported versions of database. if you see any issue with specific patch version let us know.
