VSTO Outlook Addin Can't Open HTTPS
Hi Everyone,
I need help about VSTO Outlook addin, i can't login through HTTPS domain.
Every login it comes message login unsuccessfully.
But i can login through IP HTTP, is there any port should i check,
to make sure VSTO addin could login from HTTPS domain ?
Does the VSTO addin login depend also on the HTTPS untrusted certificate?
Is any configuration in VSTO that able bypass untrusted site like
when using debugging mode in pega mobile app ?

The main problem is the revocation certificate.
Disable checking revocation in Internet Option could resolve this issue.

Hi,
If HTTPS doesn't work it means issue with SSL.Did you verify certificate is installed or not.Is it a valid certificate?Please check logs & share the error.
You can add a JVM argument to enable ssl debug logs,-Djavax.net.debug=ssl

Hi bachtiar,
Pega Sales Automation VSTO addin doesn't allow you to connect if destination system is not configured with valid ssl certificate. You don't have any configuration option to bypass this. Why can't you use ip:port instead of domain name or valid ssl certificate with domain name?

Hi Anil,
The system was secure, if only accessed by internal domain laptop or pc.
Our client still want to using HTTPS domain because in their production using same
HTTPS with valid secure SSL Cert.
I tested using their internal laptop

Hi Bachtiar,
As per your comment, system is accessible only with in client private network. So you should connect to network via VPN or pc should be in same client network. Is it correct understanding? Now the question would be, are you trying to launch the outlook addin in the same network (may be using VPN)?
If you are trying to access the outlook add in with in the same network, then you should not face any issue provided if it is not trusted site.
If I see attached outlook screenshot, Why it is showing outlook "working as offline"? It is not connected to network. When you connect to network, what is the side panel error you are getting?

Hi Anil,
Ya, i try launch the VSTO using client laptop in same network.
The best schenario is i could access the side panel, but even it trusted site the VSTO have face error "Unable connect to your application".
The server is on rightnow and could connect if we using IP HTTP.
But when i can't accessing using HTTPS
Any port should i check ? and could we move to email ?
