Hi, I have enrolled on the new Pega Academy course "Certified Senior Pega Marketing Consultant 7.21" (this course does not appear in the 'Courses' dropdown for creating this post). This course comes with a VirtualBox Pega 7.21 system for completing the exercises, the install is titled "Pega marketing Enablement 7.21 ML0".

I downloaded the VirtualBox install from Pega Academy (6.8 Gb) and using 7-zip unpacked it to a working directory and then ran VirtualBox, and selected 'New' option to install it as a VirtualBox runnable. I ensured that all of the instructions in the guide 'http://pegasystems2.http.internapcdn.net/pegasystems2/marketing/C-xxx-Marketing_Exercise_System_Guide_721.pdf' were followed exactly.

The VirtualBox system was successfully installed, then started and run without any errors. However it is not possible to use the system as the Host Only Adapter is non-functional, the system does not know that it has a network address and it is not possible to connect a browser to access PRPC.

When the ubuntu system starts we are presented with the following splash screen in the VB machine console:

Notice that the URL provided does not have an address body, not even an IP address.

I have updated my VirtualBox installation to the latest version abailable from Oracle, which is Vn 5.1.8 r111374 (Qt5.5.1)

Going in to the VB's Machine->Settings->Network, I have Adapter 1 and Adapter 2 configured exactly the same as my previous install 'Pega Marketing Enablement 7.13 ML9', which does work correctly.

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot VirtualBox Host-only Adapter issues?
