Validate the file types what i upload to the attchments

Hi

I have a button control to upload attachments. on clicking it is opening a modal dialogue window to upload files. right in the modal dialogue window I want to stop the user from attaching anything other than jpg or png file type. I have created a attachment category, if user doesn't select any attachment category it should pop a error. suggestions please. Thanks in advance

Hi Rohit,

You can try the below approach for your requirement,

On submitting the modal dialogue, run a activity to validate if .pyFileName(property which stores the filename with extension) has .jpg or .png, if not show validation message on the modal dialogue.

You can utilize "@whatComesAfterLast(Parameter,'.')" function for getting the file type.
