Utilize excel connectors from 2 different projects in one Solution
Hi,
I am working on a project on which i need to consolidate automations from different solution projects. Each solution projects has its own excel connectors.
Now, after running and completing automation1 and able to use the excel connector and moving to automation2, how can i use the excel connector from automation2? I am encountering "getworkinginstance() could not get instance" as it seems that the excel in automation2 hasn't started. I already tried the "Start" method but still it's not working? What i wanted to do is I do not want to open new excel file instead in automation2, I want to utilize the excel workbook that was already opened. How can I use the Excel workbook that was already opened by automation1 in Automation2?

I am not sure that having the same file operated on by two different projects at the same time is a good idea. I would suggest you close it first in the first project and then open the file again with a connector within the second project. Better yet, have a single project to operate on a single file. That might be a better solution.

Thank @tsasnett for your response. I'll try your approach. But for the mean time, can this thread be opened in case there would be some other approach or a solution to my issue be suggested?
