Upgrade with High Availability

We came across a requirement of pega upgrade from 6.3 to 7.2. Client need to enable OOB High Availability of Pega 7 along with upgrade.

a) How to estimate for High Availability (Ignoring Infrastructure efforts) ?

b) Pega provides any standard Infrastructure topology for High Availability ?
