Unable to register for Pega CSSA 8.8
I have cleared pega CSA 8.8 (PEGACPSA88V1). But when I tried to register for Pega CSSA 8.8 (PEGACPSSA88V1) on Pearson Vue, it didn't allow me to register citing that only those who have completed either pega CSA 8.7 or earlier versions are only allowed to register. I have contacted Pearson Vue customer care and they have directed me to contact pega systems. Could you please clarify why those who have cleared pega CSA 8.8 are not allowed to appear for pega CSSA 8.8.

@Albert Hi Albert, can you try to register for the CSSA 8.8 exam again? I confirmed the exam pre-reqs and you should clear the pre-req check.

Please can you go through all the relevant FAQ Pages eg https://academy.pega.com/registering-pega-certification-exam
If your prerequisites are missing, it is most likely you have logged in to Pearson VUE using a different account than the one you used for the previous exam.
If you have previously taken a Pega certification exam, you must register using the Pearson VUE account with which you took the previous exam.
To resolve the issue, contact Pearson VUE Customer Support and request that your Pearson VUE accounts be merged into one Pearson VUE account. Then all of your exam histories will be under a single Pearson VUE account and you can register for the PCSSA or PCLSA certification exams.
You can verify your certification using the exact email address you used in your Pearson VUE exam account. If you have associated your Pearson VUE account email address to your Pega account, then you can also use your Pega account email address to search for your certification.
Note: To streamline your records and avoid multiple accounts, we highly recommend that you use the same professional email address for your PearsonVUE and Pega accounts.

@MarijeSchillernI did try using the same account with which I have attended Pega CSA certification. I have discussed this with Pearson Vue customer care and they have directed me to contact Pega team. A screen shot of the error is attached for your ready reference.

@Albert I have been informed that the "missing prerequisite" issue was because you are using at least two accounts at Pearson VUE, and you were registering for a higher-level cert with the account that does not have the lower-level certification associated with it.

Sorry to bother you again.
The error message that's popping up while trying to enroll for PEGACPSSA88V1 is as shown below:
"Pegasystems Inc policy requires at least one of the following prerequisite exams must be passed: PEGASA101, PEGASA102, PEGASA103, PEGACSA203, CSA203, PEGACSA_r, PEGACSA_v6.2_r, PEGACSA_v6.1_r, PEGACSA71V1_r, PEGACSA, PEGACSA_v6.1, PEGACSA_v6.2, PEGACSA71V1, PEGACSA72V1, PEGACSA73V1, PEGACSA74V1, PEGAPCSA80V1_2019, PEGAPCSA84V1, PEGAPCSA85V1, PEGAPCSA86V1, PEGAPCSA87V1 before exam PEGACPSSA88V1 can be taken"
I have not cleared any of these exams listed in the prerequisite.
The exam that I've cleared is PEGACPSA88V1
Could you please clarify why PEGACPSA88V1 is not considered as a prerequisite for attempting PEGACPSSA88V1.

@Albert I got exactly the same problem.
Contacted both PearsonVUE, which told me to contact Pega support. Pega Support told me to look into Certification FAQ and nothing else.
CSA 8.8 isn't even stated as valid prerequisition for 8.8 CSSA, definitely looks like Pega Academy problem to me. We can only hope they will fix it ASAP.
Edit: Tried it again at 07:07pm GMT+01 and now it works now
