CSSA 8.8 Prerequisite
Hi,
I would like to know what are the prerequisites in taking CSSA exam?
I have CSA verson 5.5. Do I need to have CSA 8.x to be able to take CSSA 8.x?

The responses posted here are technically correct. Any version of CSA makes you eligible for the CSSA exam, so you are eligible for the CSSA 8.x exam.
However, the product has changed significantly from 5.5 to 8.7/8.8, and the exam has changed significantly since then as well. You will not be able to clear the 8.x versions of the certification exam without having some knowledge of Pega 8.7 or 8.8.
Please consider completing at least the System Architect mission. We recommend matching the version of the mission to the version of the certification exam. There are two exam versions available - 8.7 and 8.8. The linked mission is to the 8.8 version, but you can easily switch to the 8.7 mission from the version drop-down.

CSA exam is the pre-requisite of CSSA v8.8.
If you have completed CSA exam in any version earlier, then you are eligible to take CSSA v8.8 exam.
Pega certification exam dies not have any expiration date.

@eddie.jm I have completed the 8.8 version course and mission test I am referring oter resources too but all are 8.7 version is it feasible to check with 8.7 version to clear 8.8 CSSA exam??

We do not discuss specific exam content. However, our recommendation is to not rely on, or use other (non-Pega) resources for validating your knowledge.
