Ruleset Prerequisites
Hi Team,
When I am going through the Ruleset Prerequisites topic in SSA , I found the below statement
Explain Ruleset Prerequisites
A ruleset always requires at least one ruleset as a prerequisite.
But I went and checked in the PEGA portal and opened the Pega-RULES Ruleset and there the Required Rulesets and versions field is empy .
So , I assume that the above is valid for only the Application Rulesets. Please confirm

Hi Team,
In the lesson "Explain Ruleset Prerequisites" in the Senior System Architect course, the following is mentioned :
Rule validation is performed against the prerequisites. When we save a rule, the system assembles a complete required ruleset version list from:
- All ruleset versions on this list
- All ruleset versions listed as prerequisites for those ruleset versions
- All lower-numbered ruleset versions of this ruleset and the rulesets included in the same major version.
However in the Quiz portion later, there is q question based on the same concept which goes as follows :

Very astute observation. Confirmed. When we build an application ontop of PRPC, to inherit the capabilities in PRPC we need to select at least one prerequisite ruleset from the base PRPC application. When we create a new application using the wizard, it sets this up for us already.
