Unable to interrogate dropdown field
Hi All,
I am implementing automation on web application(https://sg.qbo.intuit.com/app/bill).
where I am able to login into quickbook and proceed with each automation steps to generate invoice except to dropdown selection (choose suppliers name).
I have tried with all possible match rule to interrogate dropdown field but still failing to select value from dropdown.
Actual process - post selection of a value from dropdown, one event get fired which populate data in few fields, But i am unable to get that event and perform click on dropdown.

This website uses a JavaScript Framework called Dojo. There are tools within the framework to trigger actions on controls but this will need to be done through JavaScript. By going to the F12 Developer Tools Console, you can reference the Framework by using the "dijit" variable. For example... this specific control links the two elements for the textbox and the dropdown button; the HTML element containing these two controls have a parent with an html id. To get the element, we called dijit.byID('elementID') --- then from there we were able to see the functions available from this control and saw that there is "loadDropDown()" and others.

For future controls, you should investigate this framework for functions available.

In the designer panel of Studio (the main area you work in), when you have the adapter open in interrogation mode (after clicking Start interrogation), you will see several tabs (Match Rules, Windows, Screenshot, etc...). Virtual Controls would be one of these assuming the application has them. It appears automatically when in Interrogation Mode for some applications.
