Unable to create DataType from App Studio

Hi,

I am going through LSA Architecture course from Pega Academy.

Currently working on the Exercise "Implementing the Case Type Life-Cycle"

I am following the steps mentioned in the exercise and completed upto FSG Application creation along with the FSG:Admin accessgroup and admin@fsg user.

 

I logged in as admin@fsg and opened App Studio to create FSG-Data-Address DataType. But I am getting the below error even though I have FSG-Data class available

Please help me to understand the root cause of the error and how to fix it.

Could you please check if the Data class is present in the Application ruleset?

Also if you run "D_pzDataTypesOfAppAndExplorer" data page by passing your application name as parameter, you need to get the list of data classes present.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response. FSG-Data class is available in the Application Ruleset. When I try to create Data Type from Dev Studio, the same is visible under Parent Class field. Problem is only in App Studio.

Also I could not find D_pzDataTypesOfAppAndExplorer data page in the application.
