Unable to change short description and justify warnings
Hi,
When trying to change short description of a rule (except properties), changes are not saved and the short description remains the same.
-I was able to update it at first while working on the same ruleset
-I'm only able to change short description on properties
-Tried different browser with different operator and the issue persists
-I'm working on Pega 7.3.1
Any ideas of what would be causing this?

Can you trace the save and see where the modified short description is getting discarded or overwritten?

Are you talking about history description not saved? Can you please attach a screenshot.
If that is the case probably below were reasons(If you are new to pega)
1.Updating the rule which is in locked ruleset version and not checkin to unlocked rulset version
2.Updating the rule which is someones private edit and not checkin to unlocked rulset version
3.Checkout and save but not checkin
