How do I change the Node Host Name or Node Description display name?
Hi,
We have multiple nodes configured in our environment. I went to Designer Studio--> System-->Settings-->System Name. Right now both Node Host and Node Description is showing Node ID as display names. How do I change the names from Node ID to a name which I can identify (ex. server name)?
Also, if any one of nodes goes down, how can we see the status in the Designer Studio or SMA?

Hi Manjunath,
Node short description is the Edit System Node displayed when you click on the node description in the system Name tab.

You can see the nodes in Designer Studio > System > Operations > Node Information.

I went to Designer Studio > System > Operations, but its not allowing me to select Node Information. It has other options like Cluster Management, Agent Management and Requestor Management which I not able to select as well.

HI Manjunath,
To Change the node description,go to Designer Studio-->System-->settings-->system name
Click on the Node description and change the short description not the node description.
Node ID is auto generated and cannot be changed.

hi Sarab,
I did not see any short description option to change the node name. When I click either on Node Host or Node description, there is no place to enter short description.
