@PoojaPalla you can navigate to Admin Studio -> Resources -> Listener -> Strat New Instance and click down arrow in the autocomplete box and select your listener and click Apply . Now you can trace that respective listener

Hi @PoojaPalla, There are multiple ways to debug email and file listener. You can trace the listener (or) you can add loggers to your service activity to find the execution flow / You can use remote logging.

Regarding the performance aspect, you need to be careful when using the tracer option. You can also plan to do this during a off-peak hours to reduce impact. Also regarding loggers, please reset the loggers after the debugging to avoid unwanted disk space usage.

@PoojaPallaTo trace the actual file listening piece, upload a file one and look at Requestors in your SMA. One or more of the requestors should have Client Address column containing your file listener's service package name. Trace those requestor sessions from SMA one by one by placing files one by one. Luckily, one should be your actual file listener session.
