Is there an API (Activities etc) for Reading / Writing the Calendar in the User Portal ?
This Calendar I mean: is there a collection of Activities for posting /retrieving events from this ?

Hi John,
I have not used the Calendar gadget much so I am not sure I have a complete answer.
But here's what I know...
1. you can drill down from the pyCMEvents7 section on the portal where the pxCalendarViewGadget section is embedded.
2. There is another section included within this called pzCalendarViewPreProcessing which calls the pzCalendarViewPreProcessing activity on load.
3. This activity calls the pzEventPreProcessing activity which contains a java step. This seems to be the place where the retrieval of events is being done.

Does the portal itself have buttons, menu items, or links for editing the calendar ? If so, please trace it to see what api's are used for achieving the results. /Eric
