System became too slow after Pega 8.3 personal Edition Installation

I have installed Pega 8.3 Personal Edition from Pega Digital Delivery portal and installed it in my laptop which has the configuration of Windows 10 OS, 4GB RAM, 1 TB ROM, i5 processor. I have Java 8u121 installed in my machine. When I start the Pega server, the Java(TM) Platform SE Library (inside Drive:\PRPCPersonalEdition\jre1.8.0_121\bin) started consuming more memory and it occupies 2GB of total memory which makes the system to hang. Pega home page is getting opened after 30 minutes and logging into Pega takes another 30 mins and a single click also hangs the entire system. Please help me out.

Hello Prabu,

When compared to older verisons of pega say PEGA 7.X, PEGA 8.3 is more of resource consuming. so if you want to use PEGA 8.3 PE then definitely you need to upgrade your system. If not you can try using the lower versions of Personal Edition.
