Pega 7.2.2 installation is too slow
Hi team,
Im installing Pega 7.2.2 in in oracle DB with Jboss app server.
I'm following the UI tool for the installation.
Could someone suggest how much time it will usualy take for the installation. Because the instalation is running for around 10 hours and just now it is in the stage of importiing pr4_base_07.
Is there any way to speed up the installation with some configuretion changes. (in the begining or now)

The Installation is too slow because of the network latency. Started the instalation via script mode from the server and it completed fast.

How far apart are the database and the node you are running the install from? An install/upgrade is very database intensive so you should be running from a node in the same datacenter as the database server.

Have you finished this installation? 10+ hours seems excessive for an installation. I expect that the time was being spent going across the network between where you were running the install and the database server. You want to minimize network jumps as an installation/upgrade is very database intensive.
