When looking in the worker portal I noticed that all case instances of certain case type were gone. If I open the class instances of the corresponding case type I don't see any case instances before certain time.
The only changes happend during that time were creation of new properties and rules.
If I look at the history class of that case type, I do see the 'removed' case instances, however there is something different than every new created case instance. See attachment. It seems that the removed case instances somehow are not related to any supporting case type (see attachment).
Any Idea how this is even possible?
If I crerate a new case of the same case type the case instance will be created correctly under the case (and work) class..

While I cant comment that why and how this happened at your end just by seeing the information and screenshot, I guess checking the log files for the timestamp when the issue occurred can give you some additional clue. Please reply back once you have that information from log.
