Strange issue with branches not able to pick rules from current version of the app
Hello Everyone,
we are facing an issue with the rules created in the branch that is not picking the rules from the ruleset.
Here is the scenario:
we have two apps ABC_1 and ABC_2. we built ABC_2 on top of ABC_1 and limited the rulesets 01-02 and using this version for development in ABC_2. when we create a branch on the app ABC_2 and refer a rule in 01-02 it throws an error "TestProperty does not exist or is not a valid entry for this ruleset and its prerequisites"

In this similar Question (with version 8.3), the author found that logging out and back in resolved this for them. Have you tried that?

@MarissaRogers It is not. Issue mentioned above is a different issue happening between the base app and the built on the app

Can you share the ruleset stack? Which ruleset has the property? Which is the branch ruleset where the rule is trying to refer to the property?
Are the rulesets using "Application Validation" or "Ruleset Validation"? If using "Ruleset Validation", does it have the ruleset in the prerequisite list?

@CarissaW_GCS Property is in the current ruleset that we limited to our app to( 01-02-01 ruleset has the property). It is not in ruleset validation mode. It is in application validation mode.

@KishoreYagnamurthy I tested on my 8.5.3 system but was not able to reproduce the issue. Please open a support ticket and we can set up a screen share to review the issue on your system.

@CarissaW_GCS we have this issue in 8.2.8 and we are able to reproduce this issue consistently on all the built-on apps. Sure I will raise an SR
