Starting directly a flow without clicking "New" and "Case"

Is there a way to get the users directly into the first screen of work object as they log in? We are trying to reduce one click by directly opening the first screen of work object for the users as soon as they log in. Is there a way?

There was posted a solution within this community entry, but the link does not work ("Page not found").

It would be great, if the answer to this question could be posted here again (we use Pega Platform 7.3.1).
