Cancel Case and start new case in a Flow
Hello,
We are working in a flow where we do the treatment below:
1.Change the status of the current case to "Resolved Cancelled"
2.Call the case "Action" from a "Create case" shape.
When the flow is called in the case, the current case status changes to "Resolved Cancelled" (we checked in the clipboard ) but we have always the same screen and the new "Action" case is not instantiated.
How can we close the cancelled current case screen and start the new case "Action".

Parent (P-1)
- Child (C-1)
- Child (C-1) is resolved. Parent (P-1) is also resolved.
- we've to create a new Parent case (P-2)?
- Is this P-2 a self covered item defined in case type rule?
would spinning off C-1 creation helps?
- P-1 will have an assignment
- C-1 will be resolved
- a ticket will be raised on pyWorkCover taking the control to spin-off assignment where 'Create Case' smart shape is called.to create P-2

- would it make sense to swap the sequence?
- create action case & then resolve the current case?
- could you try auto-instantiation of Action case?

- no, the specifications oblige us to follow this sequence

- as we said, it is not a child case.

Sorry, I could be missing something, but...
Action --> Parent case
Current --> Child case
Current is resolved. If Action has one child case - it will be auto resolved as AllCoveredResolved ticket fires.
from where in the flow Action case is created? (using smart shape 'create case')

Here is the scanario:
Wa have the case "ParentAction" that calls a subcase "Action" in a step.
In the "Action" subcase, we have an optional process represented below:
If we enter this flow, we need to close the current subcase and its parent case, then start a new Parent Case.
Any suggestions about closing the current case screen and starting a new Case?
