Start / Stop Listener
Is there any way to start listener other than SMA. I mean like start/stop listener using shell scripts

SMA uses JMX to get the current status of listeners and can start and stop them.
Therefore, I believe, you may want to write a code to periodically collect the status from each node, examine it and do some notification

All the JMX operations used by SMA are accessible from JMX code. You might want to refer this - https://mesh.pega.com/docs/DOC-81928
That said, if you have AES, then you can look at how AES invokes AESRemote when start / stop listener is executed (via SOAP)
