SMS number without country code

Hi there,

I need to send outbound SMS via Pega Marketing, but the mobile numbers in my DB are without county code. Is there a way i can set the destination TON and NPI in the SMS channel setting to indicate the country code? the SMS will not be recieved, unless input with the country code. Any inputs would be great!

Hi,

SMSc providers typically require a fully qualified international number. There are settings in the SMSc that can be correlated in the Marketing SMS account setting page to specify different TON/NPI, but the SMSc must support that config.

SMSC is able to support this, but i'll like to know how we can set the Destination TON and NPI value in Pega marketing SMS setting. Don't see the field avaliable ootb, do i need to set up a new property?
