SMS configuration, Outbound SMS, SMS from Pega

Please clarify the following queries:

  1. What are the prerequisites that need to be considered for sending the SMS (including images) from Pega?
  2. How could we know the SMS had been sent successfully?
  3. What are licences that need to procure for sending the SMS from Pega?
  4. Could you please share the reference which elaborates the SMS functionalities from Pega?

The context is not related to Pega Marketing. The requirement is to send SMS from Pega,I am looking for prerequisites that need to be considered for sending the SMS (including images) from Pega.
