Silverlight Replacement
we are currently using Silverlight component for word merge functionality. since silverlight is going out of support, we are exploring alternate solutions. I know 8.4 is providing server side api (pxGenerateWordDocument) for document generation but no support for client-side editing of documents. Our current business users perform client-side editing, they may not be happy/accept this solution. I am looking for the information about pega roadmap to address this issue in future versions before exploring any custom solution.

I am aware of this post and already mentioned that in my question. I just want to know pega has any plans to implement OOTB solution in coming versions for this feature.

"you can set up a button click action that will generate the document on the server and then provide your user with a download link. At this point you can manually attach the document to your case. It's a few extra steps but is a workaround until we introduce an HTML5-based solution that maintains all the parity of the Silverlight solution."
I saw the above reply for the same question 4 years ago, that is why I am looking for the information. It would be great if I get pega roadmap on this solution.
