Launch Local Action in Modal window from Actions Menu

Hi there,

I have local actions defined in Case Lifecycle and these local actions appear in "Actions" menu on top right corner of Case Manager portal.  My requirement is to launch these local actions in modal window.  Is there a configuration available for this ? Any suggestion will be appreciated.

I am using 8.2.2.

Hi,

Casewide local actions are configured to replace the current window.

However, the menu actions that we see are displayed from the navigation rule pyWorkActionsPerform. You can configure the local actions here directly to be opened in modal-window. But these type of configurations may need to be re-visited when your Pega application UI is upgraded to Cosmos UI.

Thanks Prabhath,

The issue with this approach is that the Menu Items in "Actions" dropdown are auto generated using .pyLocalActionsList.  So I cannot provide a single Local action rule name for these menu items.  Any idea how I can reference Local Action names dynamically.

I see that all the flow actions and local actions are available in newAssignPage.pyAssignActions property.
