Server Date impact for ruleset resolution

Is there any relationship between server date and ruleset resolution? We have requirement to setup an environment which the server date should be in June 2021. How if we deploy the latest pega platform on it (Let say Pega 8.7 which already release in Jan/Feb 2022) ? Or do we have to use any Pega Platform that already release before June 2021 ?

I do not think so that server date impact rule resolution. Perhaps, "Effective start date" of a ruleset  may come into picture while picking up the rules in rule resolution algorithm.
