Select Element Interrogation ArgumentException 0X80070057

Problem description:

While I am using select element feature in interrogation mode , I got the below message and Visual studio is suddenly crashed and closed .

Message: "The parameter is incorrect. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070057 (E_INVALIDARG))"
ParamName: NULL
Data: IDictionary (System.Collections.ListDictionaryInternal) with 0 items
TargetSite: Void ThrowExceptionForHRInternal(Int32, IntPtr)
HelpLink: NULL

HResult: -2147024809

Trouble shooting so far:

Run Visual Studio as administrator

Version roll back

I am using Pega Plugin 19.1.27

Hi Ismail,

As per your issue description I see it is a web application and you are using webadapter. Please correct me if my understanding is not right.

Please try to interrogate the same control by clicking on "web controls" tab>>List web controls and then select the control and try to create control.

If you are still facing the issue, you can write a javascript and use executescript and invokescript methods to perform the operation on the control. Hope this helps.
