SearchWorkItems Gadget not working

We added the SearchWorkItems OOTB gadget in our portal. But none of the dropdowns in the gadgets are responsive. Even clicking on the Search button is not responding. No actions are captured on the Tracer. We have referred the gadget in our portal by copying the HTML code from the SearchWorkItems HTML rule and created a Non-Auto generated section with it. Then we referred that section in our portal Harness. Please advise.

We are using Pega 7.4 . The configuration is as below:

1. We copied the HTML code from the SearchWorkItems HTML rule

2. Created a new section and pasted the copied HTML in the HTML tab.

3. Referred that section in our portal section.

Hi Srinivas,

Im using pega 8.4.1 and tried using this functionality in a upgrade project from.

But i couldn't succeed.Can you please produce the steps that you followed
