Screen Freeze issue
Hi, Can you help to sort out an issue, am facing problem whenever I am trying to give a gibberish value in the field which is a decimal field ... an error message has been set but the screen is getting freeze.. what can be the reason??? How can we resolve this?
Am not calling any activity or DT ntg.... just giving some wrong value.. validation is happening and screen getting freeze

What type of validation? Is this default decimal validation that is OOTB or something customer?
Is this specific to your application?
What browser and version have you tested this on. Is it browser specific?
Is this reproducible in the UI gallery with administrator@pega?

Using chrome updated version. Its a decimal field we are giving alphanumeric and exception should reflect which is reflecting... but am unable to ustd why screen is getting freeze

Adding to my colleague Durga, can you please share us the thread dumps. I have earlier seen some screen freeze/hang issues & I am sure there we will get some clue related to this.

Please enable the tracer log and fiddler trace, checking for exceptions as @Durga_Bhanuja stated and share the thread dumps as @Rachit_GCS has suggested. By doing this, you will receive assistance to get your screen freezing closer to resolution if not resolved completely.
