Report Definition : Records for Last 12 months by default load
Hi,
There is a requirement to get the last 12 months records in a report definition by default load from the report browser.
Is there any out of the box functionality to achieve this ? Also user should be able to change the criteria value .
Couldn't use 'Current Year' in the filter since it will return the records for current year.
Could you please advice ?

Have you tried using greater or equal to "Previous Year"?

Thanks Marc for your reply. But the requirement is to get the last 12 months Cases by the first load ie from today's date (05/11/2018) to 05/11/2017 Cases.

Can you try using a function in the filter which basically does "Current Date time - 12 months" .
Use the output of that against CreateDate field.
CreateDate >= "Current Date time - 12 months"

We have tried to use the function in the filter criteria. We can able to see the last 12 months records but the problem here is all the time report will fetch records for last 12 months. There is a requirement that users should be able to select the records before to the 12 months also in the report view.

You can display the filter for this criteria as Editable in the report view.
You can configure the filter to just allow users to change the months .

Check the User action settings in the Report Viewer tab of the Report Definition ruleform. You can set the filter condition to be displayed, and also to prompt the user before running the report if you want to:
