Hi,
Locking mechanism can be handled in below ways:
1. Records--->Sysadmin-->System
Enter the maximum time in minutes that an instance — for example, a work item — remains locked when opened. The default value is 30 minutes.
2. As mentioned above by other members,
1. Go to Case Explorer and select the case where you want to set locking mechanism.
2. Go to Settings tab -> Locking.

Hello,
1. Go to Case Explorer and select the case where you want to set locking mechanism.
2. Go to Settings tab -> Locking. This is not working from my side after 30 mins the lock was not released from pr_sys_locks
