Relationships in PEGA
Hello
How can I make relationships between data types in pega? Let's assume that I have two data types: Customer and Address. I want to make relation ship between those two: Customer can have one address.
How can I embed address in customer data type? Or or what solution, phrase, academy lesson should I look for?
My PEGA version is 8.4.0.

Hi,
You can create a Property of type Page(if Cusomter can only have one address) or Pagelist(if customer can have multiple address) of address class in Customer Class.

All right.
So what I did is (numbers corresponds to screen attachments):
1. Added property 'Address' to data type 'Employee' (yeah, Employee not customer)
2. You can see relationship
3. In data type 'Emloyee' field 'Address' appeared
4. Question: In data type 'Employee' in Records tab I'm not able to add column 'Address'. How to do it and how PEGA knows that two records (employee and address) are linked? I'm not able to pass anywhere address pyGUID etc.

Hi,
Normally Data type is Select * from <table name>.
Really If we want to see the view from two different tables, then create a DB view and class mapped to DBview.
But if details need to fetched on run time then we can use Report definition Class Join or on Customer Property(Page list type) refer Data page or copy values from data page can be used.
