Regarding Data Propagation
Why do we need data Propagation. If have parent case 'A' and child case 'B'. The properties of 'B' will be visible to 'A'. Then why do we need to copy data from parent case to child case. In java, child object has access to all the properties of the parent object. So is it different in pega? Why do we explicitly need data propagation. Kindly clarify my doubt. Thanks in advance.

Hi Roshini,
Parent-Child concept holds true for Pega Classes. This is similar to Java parent-child object relationship.
But Pega Case represents a transaction in the system. Each case has it's own data model associated with it and they are separate from each other. Due to this reason Data is required to be propagated from Case A to Case B is they are related to each other or if Case B is spawn from Case A.
