Data Propagation
How Data Propagation works?
I have a parent case and using Data Propagation I can Propagate the data from parent to child during child case creation.But if the value in Parent case changes in future,will changes be seen in Child Case?
I tried to achieve the same thing but found that if the value in parent changes ,then updated value is not reflecting in Child Case.If this is the case then what is the actual purpose of Data Propagation.

The purpose of Data propagation is to propagate the data from parent case to child case while child case creation.
If we want to set the values on the child case from the parent case, then we need to open the child case and set the values from activity.

Update case smart shape can be used to update the child case data when needed in your process as well.
