Refreshing the screen once the child window is closed

Hi

I have a requirement where in I have a link and on click of it to launch an application in a new window. Once the user finishes his work and close the launched application, screen from where its launched needs to be refreshed? Can you please advise?

Hi Ganesh

I doubt there is a way to accomplish what you are requesting.

In any case, I wonder why you would want to launch another application from a link. There would be CSP (Content Security Policy) settings that you would have to set to allow requirements like this as well if you found a way to launch the application.

Instead of new window, is there any chance that you can use modal dialog, if so parent will be automatically refreshed once modal is submitted.
