I am using Pega Government Platform, Pega Platform 8.6.0

My users note that the OOTB work queues widget doesn't update after clicking through the revealed items and returning to the Dashboard. So, a user can update many cases assigning them to different work queues and the Work Queues widget remains displaying the same numbers until they log out and back in. Refreshing the browser makes no difference. I tried the possibly relevant advice at https://community.pega.com/support/support-articles/case-manager-worklist-not-refreshed?check_logged_in=1 without success.

Any suggests on forcing the widget to refresh? Onload would be ideal as the displayed data cannot be changed without leaving the dashboard in our current setup.

NOTE: I am a BA that rarely picks up developer tasks, so I am best server with very clearly explained suggestions.
