Refresh Work Party information on Following / Unfollowing a case
Hi,
Here is my Scenario:
UserA started a Case, it goes to a workbasket which is acted upon by operators of a WorkGroup.
Consider the case is still in workbasket. UserA and OperatorA are sharing pulse messages. In the meanwhile another operator (OperatorB) opens the case and clicks on "Follow".
Operator B will be not be receiving any Pulse Notifications because the Case (Work Party details) are not refreshed at UserA , Operator A.
The only solution is that User A, Operator A has to refresh the case to see the updated list of work parties.
Is there a Pega OOTB solution?

This was a limitation due to case locking and is addressed in 7.3 release. Please find below the snippet from the release notes.
Cases no longer locked when followedWork party properties of the type follower are no longer associated with the cases that you follow. Cases are no longer locked when you follow them, so now all users can follow a case. If you upgrade to Pega 7.3, you can run a utility to upgrade the cases that you are following so that they are no longer locked when they are followed. |
