Refresh Action not working with DX API

Good day,

We are working using DX API V1 with Pega Platform 8.4.6 and we are using different fields like dropdowns and textbox that uses refresh section actions that runs Data transforms or activities to set different behaviors and some visibilities conditions. However it seems to be that these actions are not working and reading some information regarding DX API V1 these actions are not supported.

Is this correct?  Can I have a suggestion how to solve this? since we need to capture different actions during the case.
