ReCreateIndexesForClass fails while running

I ran ReCreateIndexesForClass activity to generate index for a class.

I am getting error as

Problems were encountered when regenerating indexes--see log for details: code: <none> SQLState: <none> Message: <none>

Encountered problem when performing a Commit

I saw few posts in pdn with similar issue(https://pdn.pega.com/support-articles/index-regeneration-fails-while-running-recreateindexesforclass). I am 7.1.8 version . please help.

Hi Pavani,

After cross checking the above specified PDN article, BUG-254136 has been raised and asked the user to upgrade to Pega 7.2.1 to use this activity efficiently and no hotfix has been issues by the product team.

So there is no hotfix for your version regarding this issue.

If you don't have any plan for the upgrade to latest version in coming days then you can raise an SR with the GCS team.
