Question on multi level decisioning in PM 8.4
Hi All,
We have migrated from PM 7.3 to 8.4. Now configured the context dictionary with the customer class. I read that this new design change is to support multi level decisioning. But how does it support?
Q1) Why Pega is allowing to create multiple primary contexts? Is it to support multi level decisioning? If yes, then how?
For every primary context we create, it creates a context property and wrapper strategy in Decision-Request-Customer class.
Q2) And also, this context property is created in Microsite and Offer class as well. What is the significance of this?
Example:
Q3) Decision-Request-Customer(Main class where the campaign strategies will be created) ---- > Created two primary contexts one lets say PegaMKT-Data-Customer and the other PegaMKT-Data-Household. We have two context properties customer and household in the Decision-Request-Customer class. Now with the strategy iteration over the list, how does the multi level decisioning works? I might be wrong in my analysis. Please correct it.
I am trying to understand the significance of this design change. Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Nizam
