Question about prreadstream assembly owner
We completed our upgrade to Pega 7.1.7 using MS SQL Server 2008 R2.
Our DBA's are questioning us on whether the prreadstream assembly needs an owner.
In our Dev and Test environments this assembly does not have an owner. I our production environment it does have an owner.
Is it OK to remove the owner of this assembly from our Production environment to be like our Dev and Test environments?
In our Dev and Test environments this assembly does not have an Assembly Owner. In our Prod environment it does have an Owner.

The assembly owner is the Pega user who creates the assembly by default (normally the database owner). If someone creates the assembly without specifying the owner, it will default to the current user who installs it anyway. During PRPC upgrade, if the assembly is a newer version, the owner or the person who has at least alter any assembly privilege can update the assembly. In short, unless the owner is incorrect, otherwise the customer should keep the owner for production
